According to Slashdot, Yahoo have bought Konfabulator, and are going to give it away for free.

Sounds like good news - Konfabulator is great. As things stand at the moment, I much prefer the combination of Konfabulator and Quicksilver to the Tiger alternative of Dashboard and Spotlight.
